# Project brief workbook

Prepare the context for a useful first conversation.

## Business context

Describe your business, audiences and the offer that the website needs to explain.

## Goals and scope

List the actions visitors should take, the pages needed, languages and integrations. Separate launch essentials from later ideas.

## Assets and responsibilities

Identify who supplies copy, images, access and approvals. Keep passwords and API keys out of the brief.

## Timing and constraints

Record your preferred launch date, budget context and dependencies. Scope and price are confirmed in a written proposal.

## A practical check

For a quote-request website, list the services, service areas and languages that visitors need to compare. Supply one approved example enquiry and describe who receives it, who replies and which system records it. Mark unavailable photos or copy as dependencies with an owner. Finish the brief with launch acceptance checks and a decision deadline. A wish list without ownership or priorities cannot establish a reliable project scope.
